Batch rename with EXIF attributes painfully slow

Hello! I've been using den4b's ReNamer with Exiv2 for quite some time to rename my raw images (CR2, ARW, DNG) based on the time they were shot and the speed was acceptable even when the files were on my NAS (read speed about 100 MB/s). With XnView MP however, I have to wait at least three times as much even when the files are on my M.2 SSD (over 2 GB/s read speed). Do you think there is anything more you can do to improve the speed? :)

Yes, only raws. Not sure what you mean with filename holder. If it's the rename pattern / template, then

Code: Select all

{EXIF:Date Taken [Y-m-d H-M-S]}
:)

O.k., thank you, I can also reproduce the problem. See issue for current status and some details. I'll post here once the problem has been fixed.
