XnView: MP 0.86 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 10 64bit
Effect: Wrong files selected - might result in accidentally deleting wrong files
To reproduce:
1. In XnView's file list, move to a folder with several images.
2. Press Enter on the first image to display it.
3. Press PageDown several times to advance to some other image (let's say: to image no. 5)
4. Press Esc (oder Enter) to return to the file list
5. Focus bar is on the image you just viewed - apparently correct.
6. Now press Shift+Down
Actual behaviour (bug): Images 1 through 6 get selected.
Expected behaviour: Only images 5 and 6 get selected.

Re: 0.86: Keyboard: Wrong focus after returning from image tab
Hi Pierre,
This bug was on my list too, so I tested, and it is partly fixed (fixed in View, not in Fullscreen)
In normal View mode it works:
Open file 1, press page down 5 times, close the tab with Esc and then press shift-right, thumbnail 6 and 7 are selected.
But I started by opening file 1 with Enter by accident and got in Fullscreen, so I tested there (users Always do other things than programmers thought of, right?), same procedure, pressed page down 5 times, pressed Esc (back in the Browser), then pressed shift-right, and still got thumbnail 1 through 7 selected.

This one is not the same, it's an issue with QT API, please create a new bug reportHanVroon wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 4:07 pm But I started by opening file 1 with Enter by accident and got in Fullscreen, so I tested there (users Always do other things than programmers thought of, right?), same procedure, pressed page down 5 times, pressed Esc (back in the Browser), then pressed shift-right, and still got thumbnail 1 through 7 selected.

Re: 0.86: Keyboard: Wrong focus after returning from image tab
Hi Pierre,
I just tested this issue with the current release v0.93 64-bit on Windows 10. I confirm that the issue is fixed. The similar issue reported here, which is related to the QT API, remains unresolved.
