0.60 hanging

When closing, MP hangs. It remains in the background at 40-50% CPU usage and doesn't close, has no visible windows.

Don't know how to replicate it... typically, I view a folder with large jpegs (2-5 MB), opening one image, closing it, then another at random (not sequentially), sometimes it remains in the background and doesn't close at all, other times it takes a while for it to close. The thing is it gets obvious since it takes up a large part of the CPU usage and it can't be ignored.
