How to re-read XMP

1.7.2 appimage on debian.

How do I re-read the xmp of an image already in xnviewmp?

The colour labelsand ratings were changed in ART. It's saved in the xmp. I checked the xmp file with vim.

"View > Update catalog from files" does NOT change the colour labels nor the ratings in xnviewmp.

Any setting that I'm missing?

'Update catalog from files' should work. do you use sidecar?
