Crop, Save & Next feature for lossless

When cropping a jpeg, my undertanding is that using "crop" this decompresses and recompresses the image, where the better option would therefore be to use the crop option from "JPEG Lossless transformations" menu?

If I'm correct in my understanding above, is there an option to use the function similar to "Crop, Save & Next" in the standard Crop function, but from within the lossless transformations function when working on multiple files?
