Disable selection jump when image added to current folder

How can I prevent XnView from automatically selecting and previewing newly added images when I'm browsing a folder? I use XnView to view images while rendering image sequences from 3D work. However, every time an image is added to the folder upon completion of rendering, the selection and preview shift to this newly added image. How can I stop this from happening?

Settings > File list > Automtically select new files
