Viewer Mode - Rotate buttons - clockwise and counterclockwise - are greyed out.

Okay thanks. No problem. Will use Directory Opus to rotate those images.
BTW: I can open the XnViewMP browser, rotate there (seems okay in the browser), double click the file, to get back into the viewer and click on save. Can't find a save button in the browser.

Else you have standard rotate in viewer...
why do you open in viewer to save?

Sorry to say, I hardly use the browser, to be honest.
I use the viewer: double click a file, either in Opus or in Everything (Voidtools), then go to color corrections, whatever.
No offense meant! The browser is fine, I am sure, but, as said, i hardly use it.
