Refresh in the View mode

Post by dufourquet »

Hello

I am using the XnView MP MacOSX, Version 1.4.1.

I am experiencing a strange behaviour related to cached data/refreshing.

When an image (whatever file type) is changed/updated outside the XnView, I see the changes immediately in the Browser mode. The file is successfully refreshed.

Unfortunately, in the View mode, the image does not update. The View mode keeps the cached (old) version of the image.

I tried both the REFRESH/F5 function but no success.

What is wrong in my Preferences, please?

In 'edit mode', there is no automatic refresh, you need to reload it File>Reload

No. I do not talk about "Edit mode" but about "View mode".

Just to view a full resolution image.

'Edit mode' is another name for 'View mode' as loaded images can also be edited, cropped for example.
