Folder deletion problem

Post by jamieg1000 »

In the folder pane, when I delete a folder, I am immediately sent to the directory from which the folder was removed. Is there no way to set the program to just go to the next folder? It is annoying to have to scroll back to where I was each time I have to delete a folder.

Thanks

I am not sure that can be fixed. If you delete a subfolder in windows explorer, it does the saame; returns you to the root
If you stay in the root folder and delete it from the right side view, you don't get that
So it is more of a windows annoyance than something specific to XnView

IF you think about it, it DOES make sense

I have not used ACDSEE for some time, but it seems to me that it gave you options for this. It also allowed you to select multiple folders in the folder pane which I can't find any way to do in Xnview.
