I'm on linux, ubuntu, and evertime I start xnview MP it just freezes, can't click anything.
I wonder if it's because it's auto browsing to the last place I was, and there must be some file there it doesn't like?
However because it is frozen I can't tell it to start somewhere else,
Is there a config file somewhere I can change to tell it to start somewhere else?
Thanks so much,
Chris
Trouble shooting I have done: Installed newest version from website, Deleted everything in the /opt/xnview/ folder then reinstalled newest version.

Re: Frozen on start
you can try to start it from terminal and you'll have some debug, else you can edit the xnview.ini

Re: Frozen on start
I couldn't fin the xnview.ini I looked in my user folder and in the opt/xnview
So for anyone that has a similar issue:
I ran in terminal and it showed my what folder it was trying to start in, so I went to that folder and renamed it, this allowed xnview to startup and work, then I just navigated to another folder and closed it, when restarting it goes to that new folder. Not sure why that folder causes xnview to hang, it has lots of quicktimes in it, so maybe it's that.
Thanks for the help! running in terminal gave me the info I needed.

Re: Frozen on start
You have found a solution which works for you...
But you should be able to find the xnview.ini location from Tools > Settings... > Integration -- Paths tab, and also open the directory from there.
