Oh my apologizes, i've seen
With the new version 0.99, the problem is fixed
not this one
Now it's slow start of EVERY run,
but it's really strange, all users having this issue have replied
0.99 is nearly instantly
From my tests, it starts in < 1sec

I just got a brand new pc, I can still reproduce the problem, it's definitely not the problem of my hardware or softwares
I install xnview mp on a M.2 ssd which has a read speed of 4500MB/s, Windows 10 takes only 5 seconds to boot up while the first run of MP 0.99.1 takes 10 seconds pfff

My new spec
Windows 10 Home 64bit 21H1 (19043.1348)
11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400F @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDRR6
HP M.2 SSD

Many users had a big delay even on second start, now it's fixed (by QT team). On my (not recent) computer W10 pro 20H2, the first run starts after max 2s.
I've checked on a virtual w10 (so very slow), and the first start is about 3s.
I don't understand why you have such delay...

I've provided all I can last time, but your team didn't found out the cause
I think you need to make a better debugger that can tell you why with detailed log

So you've located the bug and confirmed it's bug of qt not xnview assets?
If it is, what is this "QT" you're talking about? What kind of "QT" library/component/plugin xnview are using? Who should I contact for? Where can I submit issue for this "QT"?

OK, so it's some sort of framework?
I found this site but submit issue require qt version, component and a qt developer account, how should I know? Is it correct that me, an end user, go mess with this?

As mentioned in his previous posts, Pierre has already reported the issue to the QT team.

@Pierre: So far, I haven't experienced a slow start-up of any Qt-based application – be it on Windows 2000, XP, 7 or 10.

OK, thanks for the info
I just want to help and provide log or something to developers to help locating the bug
I'm not sure how this happens and I'm afraid that it's a bug only on me so it won't get fixed for ever if I didn't upload related logs since I didn't saw anyone reporting the same bug on forum
The slow start is bothering me for like 10 years...

I can assure you that Pierre appreciates your input – especially since you are an advanced user.
