Could someone please explain in plain old country-boy English what should be entered in each field that are denoted by the red letters ?

E, F, G, H, I, and K are fairly self-explanatory.

> 1. What is A__Content Location Name ?

> 2. What is B__Content Location Code ..... and how does it work ?

> 3. It looks as if something should go in the box "C" , but I cannot get any action or reaction whatsoever; what and how goes here ?

> 4. "D" ... What goes here ?

> 5. What is J__Original Transmission Reference and what goes here ?

Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.

I think only useful data for you should be entered in some fields ,except for professional use. .. :D
It's a hard work, you will spend hours ...
I'm using : keywords, city, sometimes caption , that's already a lot

we cannot leave links here, look for : iptc.org field reference table

Thanks for the heads-up, cday! phpBB's word censoring interfered by replacing “std” with “••• SPAM •••”. This has just been fixed. The link should work now:

Thanks for the link/address.

I think I have got a pretty good understanding of everything except for red letters A, B, C, and D in my initial post.

Letter "A" seems to be simple enough, "Content Location Name" ; however, I have entered information in that field on several test images and I cannot then find just where that information shows up.
