Can't run XnView MP on Ubuntu 18.04

Post by Freddy4711 » Mon Mar 11, 2019 11:02 pm

Hi,
I know XnView well from Windows. I downloaded Linux deb 64bit and started the installation. The XnView icon appears. When I try to start it, the spinner appears for a few seconds but nothing more happens. What can I do?

0.93.1? If you start xnview.sh in a terminal what do you have? Do you have tried the appimage package?
Pierre.

Hello Pierre,
thank you for your response. I got Xnview MP running now.
What I couldn't find yet is access to pictures located on a network drive of my NAS. On the Xnview file tree my external NAS does not appear. From other programs I have no problems accessing files over the network.
