Recommended Configuration for SSD?

What is the recommended configuration for XnView MP installation on an SSD? My Thumb.db is currently 2.3 GB. I understand that it's advisable to limit write actions on SSD drives so I've followed instructions to limit caching in other apps like Firefox and Chrome. I wondered if there was a recommendation for XnView MP regarding SSD drives and limiting writes.
