When I right click on a .gif file, then select "Open With", XnViewMP is not listed as one of the applications that can open the file.
Is there some way that I can associate XnViewMP with .gif files? I thought it would already do this.
Thank you

Re: XnViewMP not listed in "Open With" list for gif
Sorry for the very delayed reply.
I am using: XnView MP MacOSX Version 0.90 64bits (Mar 4 2018)
MacOS High Sierra version 10.13.5
So I have the latest version of XnViewMP and MacOS.
I still don't get XnViewMP as an option in the "open with" dialog when trying to open a .gif file.
Am I the only one having this issue?

Yes.
XnViewMP is listed in the "Open With" context menu for files with other image extensions like .jpg and .png, but not for files with the .gif extension.
