Hi im mad, i downloaded xnviewmp for mac and it never opens no matter what i do, i just get an error message. someone know why it doesnt open ?
Re: xnview won't open
oh , its a poorly maintained program. it only runs on unsupported macos, seems xnview development stopped on macos years ago
Re: xnview won't open
The versions listed above are the last versions of XnView MP that run on earlier macOS versions, development continues for later macOS versions...Fofinho wrote:oh , its a poorly maintained program. it only runs on unsupported macos, seems xnview development stopped on macos years ago

Re: XnView MP won't open on macOS High Sierra
I'm not a macOS user, but the current XnView MP version 0.89 should run on High Sierra according to the linked post above...
Looks like a security issue from your screenshot, is there possibly an 'Advanced...' setting you can change?
Edit:
If you Google macos "identity of the developer" there are a number of links you might find helpful, for example this one:
App can’t be opened because the identity of the developer cannot be confirmed

Try installing again and open the app by right click -> context menu -> open (to bypass gatekeeper) or try downloading from the Mac App Store https://itunes.apple.com/app/xnconvert/id436203431

Anyway, XnConvert works great!
As a bonus, I got XnView MP to work as well.

Thanks for your suggestion for downloading from the App store and trying it out!
