Meltdown, Spectre and XnView Projects

Are any of the XnView Projects affected by Meltdown and Spectre?
Luke from Linus Media Group\Floatplane Club was recently talking about a lot of software needing to be re-written or patched!

i don't know, but i think that patch must be applied on OS

From what I understand Meltdown requires OS patch.
Spectre is open to abuse at the application level, provided that there is some way to load executable code, such as javascript or independently compiled plugins. Firefox has issued two workarounds to limit spectre.
