Rename Dialog vs others Rename apps

What are missing in rename feature from XnView MP compared to rename software?

Okok...

1. Add Ctrl+R as shortcut (I know that it can be done via multiple select and F2 but it isn't discoverable)
2. Make the „Replace” pane with the same length as „Name template” and „Extension / Case” panes in order to leave more room for the Image Preview. See here: viewtopic.php?f=60&t=29676
3. Add „Recurse Subfolders” - without it, it can be dangerous. See here: viewtopic.php?f=62&t=29798
4 „Rename Subfolders” (!!) - add a checkbox in order to allow us to batch rename the subfolders also(!). Now we cannot batch rename (sub)folders.
5. Size: MPixels as a variable - this one is missing for Info Screen also!
6. Image Preview doesn't take in account the „Auto-Rotate based on EXIF” flag. IOW the previews are NOT automatically rotated even if elsewhere in the program everything is ok.
7 (perhaps) Some predefined templates will be very, very nice for the beginners.

hum, perhaps a global setting will be better? For example, for 'batch convert', 'contact sheet', ... too?

Hum, yes. We DEFINITELY need this. But really ONLY a global...

I would add it to each dialog separately as an override... Even if now the "standard" management operations Cut/Copy - Move/Copy To have "recurse dirs' by default and we cannot change that.

Hummm....
