Attachment upload sometimes not available

Post by cday »

The Upload attachment facility...
Upload attachment-1.png
Upload attachment-1.png (12.52 KiB) Viewed 4984 times
is sometimes not available for extended periods...
Upload attachment-2.png
Upload attachment-2.png (11.62 KiB) Viewed 4984 times
Upload attachment-3.png
Upload attachment-3.png (12.56 KiB) Viewed 4984 times
Is there a simple explanation for this?

This issue is unresolved and when it occurs it can be rather frustrating...

At this time there is no facility to upload an attachment available under the NConvert forum heading which prevents me posting a full reply to an earlier post. In the past this issue seems to have sometimes persisted for days or possibly much longer, and to have been specific to some forum headings and not to others.

Would it please be possible to review the forum settings?

And given the continuing advances in memory and bandwidth, might it now also be possible to increase the number of attachments that can be posted from three, and the maximum file size from 256KiB?

Thanks.

For information: The much newer forum www.diybookscanner.org allows significantly more, and significantly larger, attachments...

Registered users should now be able to upload attachments in the NConvert section of the boards.

@Pierre: Would it be OK with you, if we increased the max size (and number) of attachments?
