Hot Folders Not Working

Hi, I'm trying to get hot folders to work.
I've set the hot folder the output settings etc but XnConvert just doesn't see the photos to convert them.
Am I missing something? I can't seem to find any good documentation on how to get it to work.

A Hot folder (or folders) is designated on the Input tab, an Output tab destination for the converted files set, and then any file that arrives in a designated hot folder should be converted immediately. Does this not work for you?

If you are using an unusual file format it might be worth testing with, for example, a JPEG file. I think hot folders are little used, and I don't recall any reports of the function not working. If you are still having difficulty, it would be helpful if you could state the version you have installed and your operating system.

An important note: Don't make the mistake of setting the output folder to a designated hot folder, that will start an infinitive loop...
