Option to place .ini file in program folder

Post by cday »

Please consider adding a setting option to place the .ini file in the program folder, in order to make the ZIP version portable, and to simplify running multiple instances of the program when required.

Does that require starting the program using xnconvert -ini file.ini ?

When I cut and pasted xnconvert.ini from .../roaming to the program folder, and double-clicked on xnconvert.exe, a new xnconvert.ini file was created in
.../roaming.

If it is necessary to first find the .ini, and then start the program using xnconvert -ini file.ini, that isn't very user friendly even if the option is documented somewhere.
