SAME filename in hotfolder unrecognized after first run.
For example, When my hotfolder is empty.
I add file 1.pdf.
It gets processed.
If I delete 1.pdf
and I add file 1.pdf again,
It does not get processed.
How do I have the process run again?

Re: SAME filename in hotfolder unrecognized after first run.
the problem is that XnConvert keep the current file list to know which files are new, if the filename is the same, it can't detect it
i need to detect if the file is removed
Issue 1146 is fixed in next version.

The fix hasn't been applied to XnConvert yet but no doubt will be included in the next version, date unknown.Ambivalent wrote:What about this bug? I have Version xnConvert 1.73 on Windows and this problem still occurs?
Meanwhile the change has been incorporated in XnView MP 0.85beta as above, and will be in the soon-to-be-released final 0.85: as XnConvert is the same function (almost exactly) as Batch convert in XnView MP, if your need is urgent you may be able to use MP 0.85 batch convert tempoarily...

Thanks for the quick reply and the given alternative In fact I just need the hotfolder support with automatet batch scripts, wich is the fine thing in XnConvert - it's cut down right for my needs, no redundant options etc.
But for now I think XnViewMP will be a welcome workaround!
Where can I download the beta versions?

I assume, but can't immediately confirm, that the fix in the beta has been confirmed to work...
Yes, XnConvert is an excellent application!
