Split images?

Post by raducoc »

Lately I try to use XnConvert to process some scanned documents but unfortunately there is no option to SPLIT the images. I need to split dual page documents that are scanned into one single image.

Please, any chance to add a split function in XnConvert?

Support for batch processing scanned images would be welcome.

If this is ever implemented it would be useful to be able to set the crop areas as a percentage of the canvas dimensions. That would enable, for example left and right pages, to be separated irrespective of the actual pixel dimensions.

This request hasn’t attracted much support so far, although other posts show that there are evidently a number of users of XnView family software who are interested in processing scans…

[Note: It's possible to split pages with nconvert, using two successive crops and adding suffixes to the file names of the resulting images so that they are listed in the desired order, although without the percentages option.]
