Suggest: rotate snap at 90 degree intervals

Post by marsh »

Similar to the way a desktop window can snap against other windows, could the same idea apply to rotation slider so that it will land more easily on 90, 180, 270, 360 degree points?

While moving horizontal slider, <--------0--------> , to use the same rate unless it meets 90 degree axis. If slider could slow down for those numbers, maybe it would have illusion of mechanical device resting on a preset notch.
