As to the ones I inquired about elsewhere, and that seem to be causing quite a bit of confusion:
'Multipe view for same file'
- what it does: allows multiple tabs to be opened with the same image
- suggested replacement label: 'Allow (opening) more than one instance of a file' OR 'Allow multiple tabs for/of same file'
'Only one view per file''
- what it does: opens multiple files added at once via multiple selection and Ctrl+O shortcut* or dragging and dropping
- suggested replacement label: 'Open multiple simultaneously added files in one tab' OR 'View files in one tab when opened/added at the same time / at once / simultaneously' **
**Not sure if it's a bug or intended behavior, but opening multiple files at once by selecting them in the browser and pressing enter always opens them in one tab, and using the Ctrl-O shortcut always opens them in multiple tabs, regardless of this setting, which made me think the setting wasn't working right for a while. If a bug, it should be fixed. If not, the setting should be clarified to indicate that it applies to dragging and dropping only (and the shortcut??, since I'm pretty sure others said it works that way for them).
Edited to fix shortcut and add additional info about shortcut not working as expected with option.
