Thank you for the updated translation tool and files, Pierre. In the German .ts file I see many entries marked with "obsolete" - couldn't these all be removed? Or is there a reason to keep those entries?

you have a history in qtlinguist, but you can remove them if needed...

When using XnView MP 0.53 I've notice that quite a number of strings are not translated to German. When looking in more details, I found that strings that had been translated to German in XnView MP 0.51 are no longer translated (e.g. "Check for program updates") . Not sure whether this also applies for other translations.

I've just opened and compiled the xnview_de.ts file and copied the result (xnview_de.qm) into the appropriate language folder. And: All German translations appear properly. So a verification is not needed, just a proper compile is sufficient.

@Pierre: Could you please check whether you can do the compiles for all languages?

Only compile? Strange. Perhaps i forgot to update .qm in 0.53, i'll check
