hi,
1.) download & extract a clean XnView MP 0.39 (x86)
2.) Create an 'xnview.ini' in the same extracted program folder(s)
3.) Make sure there is no Database file in default user app folde
4.) Drag & drop ICNS to xnview.exe
5.) Go to next (press 'next') ICO icon file in the folder
6.) Hit the command once "icon snapshot on/off" on ICO
7.) While ICO snapshot is displayed - now press 'back' to previous ICNS
8.) Now hit the hit the command once "icon snapshot on/off" on ICNS
9.) Notice there is no first time response to "icon snapshot on/off" in this instance
Sometimes after this, there is a crash (when). Most times not crash.
