FIXED-MP LINUX v0.20 - serious Bug using fast IPTC keywords

Post by oops66 »

Hello,
(MP LINUX v0.20 - serious Bug using fast IPTC keywords function - "keyword pane to add/remove quickly keywords")
To reproduce (with some copy of photos):
1- Add some different IPTC keywords into some photos
2- Into Browser mode, select Properties\Categories
3-Add or modify some others IPTC keywords into one Photo by checking the boxe(s)
then --> this photo is deleted (or these photos are deleted)

yes each time, and nothing to restore from the trash can unfortunatly !
The same problem also occur when I add an IPTC keyword by hand via "Edit\IPCT...XMP"\ and add a new " keyword"

Could you send me a picture file? Do you use 'IPTC only' in IPTC dialog?
Pierre.

Yes I use ITPC only (by default) into the IPTC dialog, but I plan to use "IPTC, Update or Create XPM" in the future (like into v1.9x).
--> Pictures sent by mail.
FI: Same problem if "IPTC, Update or Create XPM" is selected.

I can't reproduce. If you don't use IPTC dialog, only category panel (under info), same problem?
Pierre.

It's OK now Pierre, the bug seams to be resolved with the test version received by email.

"A priori, there was a problem to rename a file /tmp/dummy in /..../ original.jpg if the 2 partitions are different ...( root: /tmp & /home/...the picture)"

Was this the problem ?
