Poltergheist who ticks the boxes ?

Hello !

• With all ß and RC1 versions of 1.96 (and older too), I face the following issue :

1. I've UNticked the two options [ ×] Compose image with… in Read/Write >> Read >> PNG
(it seems it acts also for ICO PNG-compressed or not ?).
2. When updating -by hand- to the next version, then I don't get the Alpha channel, check these options and find out that
the boxes are ticked again by themselves !
- Removing the nicks is OK, till the next version update where I've to redo that setting again. That's very irritating…
- I always keep my INI in the programme folder, it seems it's written unexpectedly when starting every new EXE…

• Any clue ? Maybe is the default wrong and reset (might be disabled, IMHO) ?

• Two days ago, I recommended XnView to a friend (TC tester), he gave it a try,
but then told me that he couln't get the Alpha channel displayed… I indicated to him what is to check,
but didn't hear about yet (he was away till today).
- As I assume above, it seems that either the default is "ON" for these options,
or they are changed at first start under some conditions,
I will investigate further when my friend reports what occured for him after checking…
