XnView MP 1.8.0 - 64 bit
Windows 10
After opening the preview window, the video plays automatically and I like it, but at this point I'm unable to move the video.
Obviously, there is a file occupancy problem.
However, if a delete operation is performed on the file, there is no occupancy problem.
Therefore, the problem only occurs with mobile.
Maybe it's fixable, thanks.

Re: 1.8.0: After enabling video preview, the video cannot be moved
After testing, I have a new understanding of the bug.
To move a video, you have to click on it.
And clicking on a video automatically plays the preview, causing file occupancy issues.
This presents a conflict in logic.
There seems to be a need to automatically stop video playback when performing a file move.
What is the feasibility of fixing it? Thanks.

Re: 1.8.0: After enabling video preview, the video cannot be moved
I opened the Preview tab to preview the content when clicking on a video.
There are two more specific actions to reproduce the bug.
1. Pick out a video, drag it to the desktop. Since the video is in preview, it will report an error that the file is already open in XnView MP.
2. open two XnView MP windows, drag or move a video from window A into window B. It causes the same occupancy problem.
