no Playback of videos with mjepg codec --> not with AVI (original from camera) nor converted to mp4
After last update xnviewmp stopped playback of mjepg coded video (the audio is played!)
(Also it seems for all formats the autoplay when clicking on the file(s) is no longer active)
Videos (the ones I tested) with a codec different than mjepg still work (no autoplay!)
To reproduce:
1. updated my system with aur helper (I use trizen but that is just for information) --> xnviewmp version updated
2. open xnview
3. goto folder with videos
4. click on video
5. audio is played, but no video
Actual behaviour (bug): no Playback of videos with mjepg codec
Expected behaviour: Playback of videos with mjepg codec as in previous versions

I tried a cut file with only 4,5MB... still says to large.
Please provide a hint how to provide sample files.

For sample Files use the following link (!!! AND Important --> see the Warning below first !!!):
curl -o sample_files_for_bugreport.7z https://file.io/ecrZQ7wRizKH
the downloaded file is a 7z packed archive with password xnviewmp
the archive contains the original AVI and an mp4 with copy of video data, but sound transcoded as mp3...
both do not work any more with xnview (only sound with both files)
Warning: the Download file can only be downloaded ONCE. After the first download it is automatically deleted. Also the File expires if not downloaded within one month.

on Linux?
are there any Dependencies which need to be satisfied? Version of Libs?
have you looked at the PKGBUILD of the AUR package for xnviewmp?

Re: 1.8.0-2: no Playback of videos with mjepg codec
XnViewMP doesnt use qt5-multimedia as default. I've tried on Debian 12, and i have audio+video
you can try to change useInternalVideoPlayer=false

Re: 1.8.0-2: no Playback of videos with mjepg codec
useInternalVideoPlayer=false works partly, as videos now can be played again, but
one of the features I rely on is that xnview is one of the very view programs to show videos correct when its rotated by tags in the metadata.
with useInternalVideoPlayer=false videos are not rotated at playback (so just like most external player do).
Also I need to open the video in a own tab to view it. Its still not played in the preview area.
So thx, its a minimal workaround but does not restore the "normal" operation.
I would still offer to help finding the root cause as far as I can.
