Recent versions (v1.7.1 Win) often cause errors after converting file formats.
Convert batch files from PNG to JPG format and delete the original files. Some PNG files will still be retained. After trying to delete it (the redundant PNG files), an error occurs (as shown in the picture).

Can the problem still occur after restarting XnView?

Re: There are errors after converting the format
I think your problem is somewhere else and not a problem of XnviewMP.
Did you do a batch conversion and active the delete function in the dialog or did you delete the source files manually after png to jpg conversion?
Is it possible, that you opened one or more files before you want to convert the whole folder or the selected files?
Maybe the png files are opened in XnviewMP or other program? Then it is possible that they are locked by another program.
I think you opened the one or more files before you start the batch conversion
and then they are locked by the program, which opened it before.
That could be a reason, why the deleting of one or more files did not correctly work.
Maybe you can check it with another folder or copy same png files for testing in a new folder.
It did some conversion jobs with my png files to jpeg format and everything is working perfect.

I have always used XnView MP in the past and never had this kind of conversion file format error, but after updating to this new version, this problem occurs from time to time (sometimes it is normal)?
Maybe you can try to verify it multiple times...

Re: There are errors after converting the format
1) Select the funding PNG file and press Ctrl+U to convert the format.
2) Convert to JPG and delete original files, set quality to best.
3) After conversion, sometimes one or two pictures appear randomly and still remain as PNG files.
4) After deleting the PNG file, the error dialog shown in the picture appears.

Re: There are errors after converting the format
After using it for a period of time, I found that version v1.7.2 still occasionally occurs this problem, but it is not as serious as the previous version.
