Pressing TAB repeatedly doesn't navigate outside directory treeview

Hi,

I use TAB and Shift+TAB a lot to navigate between the different parts of XNView MP, but I can never navigate further than the directory treeview on the left.

When I'm in the main file list in the center and press TAB, I'm taken to the icon size slider, next the top directory box, next the quick search, and then the directory list on the left. No matter how many times I press TAB here, the focus never changes.

When I Shift+TAB back, I can return to the file list, but obviously it would be handier to just keep on pressing TAB to cycle around the different parts of the software.

Is there a setting for this that I'm missing, am I doing something wrong, or have I discovered a bug?

PS: I'm on Version 0.99.1 64bits (Sep 23 2021)

I've just upgraded to Version 0.99.6 64bits (Dec 10 2021), and can confirm that this behaviour still happens in the new version.

Hello,

I don't know what happened in the meantime, but I was able to use the TAB key to cycle throughout the screen perfectly fine, until I installed the 1.7.2 version.

Now, I can cycle backwards for as long as I like, but as soon as the focus is set on a drive/directory in the file listing part, TAB no longer moves to the next part of the screen.

Could you please check this?

Hi Pierre,

I understand. I can't seem to find any reason for it either. The only thing I can say is that I start XnView MP, click one of the directories in the treeview on the left, and press the TAB key. The focus never shifts to another control.

If I go backwards (shift+tab), then it actually does work and cycles from directory view to drop down on top (recent directory list) to browser list to folders tab of the treeview and then back to the treeview.
