All of my databases are stored on the External Hard drive.
When I plugged in MACOS, the catalog does not work because MAC use the path as
volumes/DriveName/FolderName
while windows use
Driveletter/FolerName
Of course I can not sort the data out
Is there any way just to work around this situation while we are waiting for the proper fix
In addition, thumbnail video is not working on MAC
Thanks for all of yours hardworking

yes you can use a 'base path' in settings>Catalog, for example on MacOSX 'volumes/DriveName/' and on windows 'Driveletter/'

Re: Working between Windows & Mac with data from External Hard Drive
If you have connected an external hard drive, and it does not work, this is typical for hard drives with a volume of more than 2 terabytes. The reason, in this case, may be the usual lack of power for the hard drive.
It is powered by a computer USB port, which does not always give out the 5 volts necessary for the disk to work. In this case, you will need to use a special USB cable with a fork or a Y-cable. The problem may still be in your device's incorrectly configured hard drive. I advise you to contact the specialists from HARD DRIVE RECOVERY.
