The reason is that e.g. the thumbnail details' fourth line is defined as {Focal Length}... instead of {EXIF:Focal Length}...
Likewise some of the other variables used e.g. with the tooltip setting or the full view description are incorrect. One has to go to Settings and overwrite the preset definitions with the correct variable names. It would be nice if these were correct in the first place
