MP 0.34 Win: drag n drop gets disabled after recent files

The drag n drop onto interface -feature seems to get disabled after launching a file from the 'recent files' which is some strange behaviour. But all is ok after a program restart.

I have the 'Recent Files' maximum set to '6' in the Settings.

I also have MP writing all the settings to it's .ini along with the following enabled/disabled settings below

have disabled these;
'fullscreen when starting file' (settings>general)
'open browser' (settings>general)
'use checkboard pattern as background' (settings>view)

have enabled;
'only one instance' (settings>general)
