MP 0.26 and the Parent Folder

Post by Jean_59 »

1. In Browser mode, XnViewMP 0.26 crashes when I click on the Open (View) Icon after selecting the parent folder Icon (..).
(I understand trying to "view" the parent folder is a strange idea, but under the same circumstances, 1.97 doesn't crash, but just browse it)
Furthermore, this Parent folder always appear in all display modes (thumbnails, list, details..), even if in Options/File list, ".." is not checked as visible. How can I get rid of it ?

2. Custom sort order by drag & drop of thumbnails works fine, but you can only drag one thumbnail at a time: I would like to move a selection of files (like in ACDsee !). (Custom sort order stored in a local file is a very good idea: easy to detect and delete, and no impact on the database size)

3. When do you think the playing of videos will be implemented ?
(I suppose it is not a bug ?)

'Open' is not greyed??

Thank you Pierre,
Since I wrote this post, I moved to Windows 7 / 64 (Intel i7-860), and MP0.26 doesn't crash any more ! (in fact, when you select any folder and click "open", you only get black screen, the "open" icon is not greyed).
I still can't get rid of the ".." icon (it takes the place of 1 thumbnail and is not useful (the "up" arrrow is always near the adress bar).
