Choose "view as" thumbnail.
Choose "Tools\settings" and click OK to save the settings.

Hello, right if i do step by step this procedure, I have this problem too with the MP linux 0.25 version.
But on the next start, I do not have it again.
Did you try with a fresh xnview.ini file and .db file ? , and did you try to save your custom layout via the panel: "Layout"\ Save Layout 1... ?

Hi,

I deleted the whole "Application data\XnViewMP" directory, i started XnViewMP and saved the layout but i still have the same problem when i open the settings dialog and click on OK.

I noticed a problem with "save layout":
Maximize XnViewMP, click on save layout 1 and then on restore layout 1. XnViewMP is no longer maximized.
