v.0.21(L) No thumb labels used, no highlight seen

When thumbnail labels are removed, it isn't possible to see what images are highlighted in blue (as this only appears on label). I think the highlighting should shade the whole miniature.
Appearance settings:
Spacing=12
Everything else=off.
384x384 miniatures in 2 columns, layout #3.

Ok, but the problem is drop shadow. It's not good if i highlight the whole thumbnail.
