v0.12 Win32: Cosmetics: Filter control display anomaly
The text data entry box for the "instant" filter overlaps the boundaries of the control beneath it and looks "funny".
Also, the thumbnail slider needs a small gap between it and the splitter.
These are small issues, but do have a subliminal effect.
Display: 1920x1200, 120DPI

I think it may have something to do with the display mode. I see this sometimes in other software that is designed on 4x3 screens.
My mode is 1920x1200 and font DPI = 120.

Here is how it looks on Vista:
(Click the thumb to see a clearer representation).
It looks like the filter box is actually two or three overlapping controls that either haven't been aligned properly or whose position anchors are mis-set.
A minor cosmetic thing, surely, but it looks quite unprofessional, especially when typing in the filter text box.

This display bug still present in MP 0.20. Simply reducing the height of the quick filter text control (and repositioning it slightly) would fix the problem.

I don't change the position of text field, it's an automatic layout, so it's strange. You are always with 120DPI?

Hi Pierre
Here is how it looks at 96dpi (I changed my display settings)... see below. It looks like there are two over-lapping controls, one to capture the text (on top), and one to simply display the "X" icon (beneath) since the text control doesn't allow an embedded symbol. I have layered controls like that in my own software and usually have to adjust placement (of the control on the top layer) until everything lines up properly at all resolutions.
Hope this helps...

It works properly, but the anomaly remains.
