Explorer lock it inside for about 10 min after last use. Its "Greatest Microsoft Perfomance Optimization". I hope rebooting is the fastest way...
No, logging off and back on again is the fastest way. Also if you run a dial-in server like I do, I have a registry tweak that will keep your dial-in connections when logging out and in.
Another tip, when uninstalling and upgrading shell extensions make sure ALL file managers (Windows Explorer or xplorer2) are closed Before you do anything and use Start -> Run to install the newer version.

I doubt. During relogging MOVEFILE_DELAY_UNTIL_REBOOT files are not processing and auto-logon not working. My WinXP rebooting faster than "logging-off-password-typing-logging-on".

I installed SageThumbs 1.0.0.11, i make a clean install, removed the version 1.0.0.10, rebooted and then installed the new one, but the problem still there, i can't see thumbnails fo PNG and TGA but can see all other supported formats.
I sent you a screenchot and 2 sampler files as you ask me one PNG and one TGA. I hope it can help.
Few suggestion for new version: multi conversion (if more than one files selected), more types of file in conversion (png, etc.), options in conversion (level of compression etc.).
Hi, sorry for take too long but i tried the latest version (1.0.0.12) but now i can't see PSD thumbnails.
BUT i installed the version 1.0.0.9 and work woth all formats, only the versions 1.0.0.10, 1.0.0.11 and 1.0.0.12 cause this thumbnails issues here.

When will a new version of SageThumbs be available? I have never installed this plugin since it still appears to have some reported bugs and because XnShellEx 1.2 is already installed.
What's the difference between SageThumbs and XnShellEx? They both have thumbnail preview features. Can both be installed at the same time?

Wherefore? What bugs?
SageThumbs is more powerfull than XnShellEx. It makes Windows Explorer looks like XnView.
1. SageThumbs file properties state its language is Russian. Does that mean the file and menu options are in Russian rather than English, or is there an English version of the file?
2. Can SageThumbs and XnShellEx be installed at the same time, or must XnShellEx be uninstalled before installing SageThumbs?
3. Are there any issues with Windows XP SP2?
4. Are there still issues with uninstalling the plugin, or have all those been fixed?
From this thread, I did learn that to install this, all Explorer and Internet Explorer windows should be closed, and the plugin should be installed by Start - Run. The bugs mentioned in the posts before mine mentioned uninstall problems and some thumbnails don't display. No mention here of what happens if you install SageThumbs when XnShellEx is already installed, so I had to ask.

Single file contains russian and english translations. Its depends on windows default language.

Its possible but looks funny.
SeaMaiden wrote:3. Are there any issues with Windows XP SP2?
Nop. Its a system where SageThumbs was born.
SeaMaiden wrote:4. Are there still issues with uninstalling the plugin, or have all those been fixed?
I hope it fixed.
