This does not answer my question. I don't like the Mezich skin or one of the others, I always used the XP skin!

BTW Pierre: it would be nice to have copy and paste in the right-klick menu...

I totally agree, some skins look very unprofessional and/or childish, could IMO be removed from the program.
So my question is, which skins must be in the package?

Any intentions on updating these images' links? They're all broken now. :(

Or, i dunno, if someone could point out a good skin with small buttons (like Phoenix small), i'd be much gratefull. :D

"Disabled" bitmap no more supported ?

Post by Clo »

 Pierre

:) Hello !

• I attempted to make a "sepia" «disabled=…» main bitmap for a skin of mine as a test and to get a certain look,
that doesn't work anymore with that entry in the <info.txt> file.
- The built-in feature that makes the inactive icons greyed takes precedence always, it seems.

OUTDATED !

:) Hello !

• The "small" bitmap of the skin you show seems quite outdated. You could complete it following the info we give HERE
- Please, don't forget to update the <info.txt> file as
version=3

• Good luck :D

EDIT :   BTW, I checked that skin, 3 icons are missing in the browser bitmap…
- Moreover, I'm not sure at all that the main bitmap is OK for a current use…
- This skin could be valid till the 1.80… versions only, as far as I see here…

Some of the old skins may not look that professional and are incomplete. Nevertheless, is there a simple, "official" way to download and include them into XnView? (It's good to have an overview of all skins in the initial post, but download links and a description for installing should be provided.)

Update for 1.95xx

Post by Clo »

 All

:) Hello !

• With the 1.95 new "beta" versions, the skins have been changed by adding twelve icons…
• I updated a bunch of my own skins to test, they are available from THIS PAGE.
• FYI, please, see also THAT MESSAGE
- The instructions to make skins are updated too in our Manual (online and to download).

Any chance to get it working properly on 24bit Dektop (Windows XP Prof.)?
