When going trough browsing folders that are not in Catalog XnViewMP starts to generate thumbnails which takes ages especially for RAW files and videos if they in same folder, this introduces lots of LAG even on fast computer (perhaps lag is because reading from regular spinning hard drive?).
Then i lots of times i am clicking in folder in tree view on the right to switch to another folder its not responsive and next thing i know i am dragging folder into another folder then Ctrl+Z does not move folder back so i have to stop everything i am doing and go look to where that folder actually got moved and put it back in order.
Option to lock tree view panel (disable drag and drop of folders) would be very handy in this scenario then even if XnViewMP lags never going to drag folders in wrong place again.
P.S. If you ask me i'd rather have option to disable drag and drop of folders and files globally in options and use the Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) instead, for me this creates too much problems always.
Off folders dragging in tree view panel (and thumbnail view)

Indeed, XnView MP needs something to prevent accidental drag and drops, both for folders AND for image files.
This could take the form of a menu choice to disable drag and drops, as suggested above, or perhaps more simply (?), adding a confirmation dialogue to drag and drop actions.
In any case, I too can't count the times I've accidentally clicked on images or folders and moved them to some mystery location while moving the mouse about.
