Hi there!
I feel over my head language-wise to search for it. It's that: In Classic XnView, I since had this incredible useful feature in the browser to preselect a number of pictures that I wanted to directly compare, doubleclick with pressed Ctrl the last one selected, and, voila, I could scroll through only those pictures.
Now, with MP(which is by the way in many ways much better, eg memory handling on large directories), this feature seems gone. Am I missing a key combination, is it still there, or, if not, could this please be reinstated?
Kind regards
Stefan

Re: Ctrl-Doubleclick like in Classic
Actually, I do not know, what it does in MP.
What I can do in classic, and what I want to be able to do in MP is:
I select in the browser LMB with CTRL pressed some selected pictures, and when I come to the last one of the selection, I LMB doubleclick it, and then the viewer opens only these pictures, which I can scroll through with the mousewheel. This works in Classic, but not in MP. So, is this feature still in MP, but on another combination of key/mouse action, or ist it gone? Thanks for your time, and the program!

Re: Ctrl-Doubleclick like in Classic
feature is already there:
1. select files in Browser
2. press Enter/Return (or 'Open' in context menu/toolbar)
images will be opened as filelist
It feels clumsy to open via LMB double-click as you have to click on not selected image, if you double-click on already selected image it will be missing from opened filelist. For this reason, I would not use double-click for this functionality.

Thank you very much! That was it, and, you're right, it's clumsy with the double-click, it only works, if one does it on the last picture still unselected, and then the double-click includes it. Much easier via Enter! Thanks again, much appreciated!user0 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 12:21 pm feature is already there:
