I would like to suggest adding "Ratings" (the starring function) to the "Filter by" function.
I note that I did find this relatively recent post through a bit of Google-fu, which seems to be touching on exactly this request. There, Pierre said "now you can customize this in Settings>Browser>Toolbar - Filter," which apparently worked for the OP. But when I go there, there is indeed a "Ratings" checkbox, but it is changing nothing in the "Filter by" function, nor elsewhere (???) as far as I can determine.
I also found this much older post, it too pretty much describing this same idea.
Note that both of the above links seem to suggest that this functionality was present in the past???
In any case, the suggestion is to enable the filtering of an individual folder (and recursed subfolders ideally) so that it shows only images with X amount of stars, or, even better with =, <, >, ≤, or ≥ number of stars, as can be done in the Search function.
Thanks for hearing my out and happy shooting to all.

Re: Add star ratings to "View" --> "Filter by" menu
Oh! There!
I didn't see it because I don't have the Filelist toolbar activated. Thank you - One mystery solved!
I do still think that it would be good to add that functionality to the "View" --> "Filter by" function, which is always available via the menus and moreover can be added to the main toolbar as a button.
Thanks again!
