Open image in separate window with one click

I often open images in multiple windows, and it requires a rather cumbersome process, of right click, slide up the context menu, slide to the right, and then click again. How about a way to just single click an image open into another window. Or worst case, put "Open With Associated Program" on the first context menu if you right click on an image. But a single click, or maybe gesture? would be best. Thank you!

what's the problem with the F3 shortcut?
