"Panning speed" for fast panning while Viewing with the mouse button held down

Post by xmozg »

Suggestion. Xnviewmp has a useful function interface > mouse > left button (move picture) feature when using the "Use "Pan and Zoom" tool". Enlarge the image when the mouse button is hold. There is only one problem - the image is panned at a 1:1 pixel ratio speed. It would be nice to have a speed control feature. For example, acdsee has Display > Panning speed, which adjusts the speed from 1:1 to 1:5 (one pixel of cursor movement = 5 pixels of image panning). I set it to the maximum, it suits me)

Another approach is possible to solve the problem. dopus has the ability to pan the image in inverted motion mode when the mouse button is held down, so that, for example, placing the cursor in the upper left corner of the screen results in displaying the upper left corner of the image. Thus, by holding the mouse button just once and moving the cursor around the screen, you can get to any point in the image as quickly as possible. Perhaps this approach is even better than the previous one.

I hope this will appear in xnviewmp.
