Show mouse position in title bar

Post by bruderood »

Hello,

I would like to add the X/Y mouse position (relative to the current image Width x Height, not relative to screen resolution) to the title bar while in view mode.

This could be set here : Settings -> View -> Info, but I can't find it if I click on "Insert" and there is no complete documentation of all possible code that could be inserted there.

It already shows the position in the status bar, but I really need it to show in the title bar.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

Hello,

Still looking for a solution to this..

My goal here was to set XnView to display the mouse coords in the title bar so I can read it with my scripting language, AutoIt. For some reason I cannot get AutoIt to read the status bar of XnView (Where the coordinates are actually shown) but it can read the title bar just fine.

Are you aware of any way I could extract/export the coords from xnview programmatically?

Thanks a lot!!
