I'm an architectural photographer and need to check straight horizontal and vertical lines.
If I double click an image in the browser, I have to activate i.e. a 10 pixel grid for each image.
How can I set this custom grid as the default?
How can I make the grid persistent, that means that my custom grid will be applied to each image automatically when I check it in the viewer?
Is there a slight chance that this feature can or will be implemented?
Or is there any trick to save my custom grid as the default grid?
Any help will be appreciated...

Re: persistent grid
Try to assign a shortcut to the Grid action (go to Tools | Settings | Interface | Shortcuts - be sure to look at View mode) - for example a key which is quick to press: the best candidate is „G”, of course. (Just tested it - it works).
For Pierre:
Also, perhaps a drop-down in Tools | Settings | View | Misc called „Default Grid” will be a nice addition.

Re: persistent grid
Thanks for the trick. However, this won't enable my very fine, custom grid with a custom color.
