Use system's Qt on Linux?

I apologize if this was asked or explained before, but why does XnViewMP (for Linux) include its own Qt libraries rather than use the systems'? I mean it makes the download fairly large and I prefer the way my system's Qt is themed.

I use modified Qt version, so it's not possible to use system Qt libraries
